From 15th of June, Iceland will reopen to tourists. It is reported to be offering visitors an exemption from its two-week quarantine period if they take a COVID-19 test on arrival.
For the first two weeks these tests will be free of charge, but from 1 July passengers will be asked to pay ISK 15 000. If you are travelling with children born 2005 or later, they are exempt from both testing and quarantine.
Everyone travelling will also be strongly encouraged to follow local guidelines such as washing their hands and practising social distancing. They are also asked to keep in mind local regulations such as the ban on gatherings of over 200 people.
