The journey was too far to make by ambulance, so a charter was the only way to quickly transfer the patient. We sprung into action to source a specialist aircraft within budget and complete the journey as soon as possible.

We then liaised with the patient’s parents to ensure all passengers had complied with mandatory Covid-19 testing before travelling. The flight ran smoothly and the patient was transported safely home for further treatment.
